Training Schedule
Please find above the summary of the training schedule and advise availability for all three days. We don’t want to train on 'Sat 22nd' so please choose one weekday training day. Thanks
Some Words from the Games Coordinator..
"Our club members are looking forward to getting you out on the water and having some fun in an attempt to make you look like you know what you're doing on the day! As has been mentioned previously, three sessions are ample to pick up the basics and get the canoe moving at a surprisingly fast pace. Each year we find some competitors enjoy it so much they become members and continue training and racing.
We ask that you are mindful of the fact that our members are volunteering their time between their own training and work/family schedules to spend their time with you. Personally I'm a teacher volunteering to coordinate the event when I should be busy writing student reports! If there are any last minute changes to your training, short on numbers (we need a minimum of 5 of your team at training) or you are running late, please let your team captain know (or person nominated for that training session) to keep things running as smoothly as possible and to schedule. I can't always get to my personal email or answer my phone during the day, it all happens after 4pm, so it will be too late to make changes on the day.
Our emphasis during training will be on safety, technique, team work and FUN. Looking forward to seeing you on the water" from 'MOCC Corp Games Coordinator'

Training Days: Saturday morning.
Training to commence the week beginning 3rd November 2008, every Saturday will be made available through to Race Day। Three training sessions should be more than adequate for teams to be competent and competitive।
Time: Saturday session: 10:30 – 11.३०अम
Safety Note: All teams will be required to attend at least one training session, as safety is paramount to the Games Organisers as well as MOCC। This is to ensure your team members know how to hold the paddle correctly, what to do in case of capsize, and understand the running of the canoe while racing and getting used to listening to the instructions of your Steerer।
